My daily pick up for office was @ 6.40 am and the cab used to come by 6.35 am. I had to get up by 5.30 to get ready & also help my mom in kitchen. Being a Suryavamshi, I did not like waking up so early, but slowly I had started liking the morning walks to the bus stop. Fresh air, cold breeze, people jogging and walking (inspiring). I realized that  I had started looking forward for my pick up and getting up that early morning wasn't hell anymore. And to add to this, my commute to office had become nicer. Why?  Because I had made a new friend on the way to my office. If you are wondering what so special in this - I and this new friend - w e both had never spoken to each other but still we knew each other :) This new friend, I discovered used to stand near a tea stall next to the Ramaiah stop just before the pizza hut from around 6.45 am till 7 or 7.15 am to have tea with his friend. I had never noticed that he was looking @ me. ಅಮ್ಮಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಯೆದೆಯಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ . . . . !! ಆಫಿಸಿನಿಂದ ಮನೆಗೆ ವಾಪಸ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾದ್ರೆ fm ಕೇಳುತ್ತ ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದೆ.. ಮ್.ಡಿ.ಪಲ್ಲವಿ ಹಾಡುತ್ತಿದರು - "ಅಮ್ಮ ನಿನ್ನ ಯೆದೆಯಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಮೀನು, ಮಿಡುಕಾಡುತಿರುವೆ ನಾನು, ಕಡಿಯಲೋಲ್ಲೇ ನೀ ಕರುಳ ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಒಳವೂಡುತಿರುವಾ ತಾಯೆ, ಬಿಡದ ಭುವಿಯ ಮಾಯೆ, ನಿನ್ನಾ ರಕ್ಷೆ ಗೂಡಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಚ್ಚಗೆ ಅಡಗಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ದಿನಾ ? ದೂಡು ಹೊರಗೆ ನನ್ನಾ .. ಹೌದೆನಿಸಿತು.. ಇವಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ .. ಇವಳ ಹೆಸರು ಶ್ರಾವ್ಯಾ .. ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟಿತ ಕಂಪನಿ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹುದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ, ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ದಿನ ರಜೆ, ನೋಡಲು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ರೈ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರು ಹುಡುಗರು ಇಷ್ಟಾ ಪಡುವಂತಹ ಮುಖ ಕಳೆ, ಬಾಯಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಮಾತು-ಹರಟೆ, ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಸುಶ್ರಾವ್ಯವಾದ ಕಂಠ  :) ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತಲೆನೋವೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆಲ್ವಾ .. ಇಷ್ತೆಲ್ಲರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆ ಭಗವಂತ ಇವಳಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆಯ ವಯಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ :( .. ಅರೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಂದರೆ ಏನು ಅಂತ ಕೇಳ್ತಿರಾ !! ಬದುಕಿನುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾವು ಯಾವ ಯಾವುದೋ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಥ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತೇವೆ .. ಹೌದಾ .. ಆದರೆ ಇವಳು ಈ  ಅರ್ಥ ಅನರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿರುವುದು "ಇವಳ ಮದುವೆ ಆಗುವ ಆ ಪುಣ್ಯಾತ್ಮನನ್ನ" :p ಅವಳು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಳು ಅಯ್ಯಯ್ಯೋ ದ್ಯಾವ್ರೆ ಇದೆಂಥ  ಕಷ್ಟಾ ಕೊಟ್ಯಪ್ಪಾ - ನಾನೇನು ಪಾಪಾ ಮಾಡಿದ್

"ಅಕ್ಕಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತೂ ನಿಂಬು ಶರಬತ್ "..

ನನಗೆ ತುಂಬಾನೇ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ತಿಂಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು - ಮೊಗೆಕಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ .. ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಯಾವಾಗಲು ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಅಜ್ಜಮ್ಮ ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ಕರೆಯಿಂದ ಕರೆಯೋದು - ಮಗಳೇ ಬಾ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆ ನಿಂಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ, ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಂಬು ಶರಬತ್ ಕೂಡಾ ಇದ್ದು ನೋಡು ಕುಡಿಯಲೇ ಮರಿಯಡ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಲ್ಯ :)) ಅಕ್ಕಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ನನಗೋ ಪ್ರಾಣ. ಅದರ ಜೊತೆ ಕಾಯಿ ಚಟ್ನೀ, ಬೆಲ್ಲ ತುಪ್ಪ, ಅಲ್ಲ ಚಟ್ನಿ ಪುಡಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಹಚ್ಹ್ಕಂಡು ತಿಂದ್ರಂತು ಏನ್ ಸ್ವಾದಾ  :)  ಅದೇನು ಕೈ ರುಚಿಯೋ ಅಜ್ಜಮ್ಮಂದು ಮಾತ್ರಾ.. ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋದ್ರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ನನ್ನ ಮನೇಯವ್ರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆ ಹಬ್ಬ. ಕಾರಣ - ನನ್ನ  ಕಪಿಚೆಷ್ಟೆಗಳು, ಕಸಿನ್ಸ್ ಯೆಲಾರ್ನು ಕೂರ್ಸ್ಕೊಂದು ಇಸ್ಪೀಟಿನ ಆಟಗಳು, ಕಣ್ಣಾ ಮುಚಾಲೆ ಆಟ, ಮರಕೋತಿ ಆಟ, ಚೆನ್ನಾ ಮನ್ನೀ ಆಟ, ಗದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಕಡೆ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಧಾನ್ತಗಳು ಒಂದಾ ಎರಡಾ. ಇಡಿ ದಿನ ಆಟಾ ಆಟಾ :) ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಹವ್ಯಕ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ. ಹಳ್ಳಿ ವಾತಾವರಣ, ಹಸಿರು ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ತೋಟ ಗದ್ದೆಗಳು, ಎತ್ತಿನ ಗಾಡಿಗಳು, ಪರಿಚಯವಿರಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಸೋ ಜನಗಳು - ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಅದೇನೋ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಅನುಭವ ಆಗೋದು ಉರಿಗೆ ಹೋದರೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಉಟ ತಿಂಡಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಂತು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲ ಬಿಡಿ. ಅಪ್ಪೆಹುಳಿ, ತಂಬ್ಳಿ, ಮಾವಿನಹಣ್ಣಿನ
